So glad I found "The Old Front Door" online. Quality products, made to last, at a fair price. Highly recommend – one to bookmark!

Chris is an amazing craftsman. He turned our horrible 70s door into a work of art. He was very patient at the design stage, took our crazy ideas on board and produced an Edwardian front door, frame and stained glass that’s a one off.

To show you the mark of the man, he even went out of his way working on the porch and lintel strip at no extra cost because it’s what the door needed.

This is a really good piece of kit. Reduced draughts to nothing and,unexpectedly, had a big impact on traffic noise. Worth every penny.

We are delighted. It is Victorian style and the same as our 2 neighbours' doors, previously ours was out of keeping. And it fits perfectly.

Chris and his stepson were excellent in every way.

Chris made us a front door a number of years ago which we absolutely love and still looks as good as new so when the time came to update our internal doors I didn’t bother contacting anyone else.
 
From start to finish the process was effortless and the quality and craftsmanship is second to none. To illustrate the point they spent nearly half a day filling in the gaps in the door frame left by the old hinges. I’m sure most others would have simply reused the gaps but Chris explained it wouldn’t look right and he was absolutely correct.
 
In summary I can’t recommend Chris and the team highly enough and wouldn’t hesitate to ask for his help again.

Just wanted to say a big thank you Chris for your help. The kit is now installed and the door is tremendously snug against draughts and it looks fantastic with the beading and new letter box.

From the start Chris put up with lots of indecisiveness and back and forth from me.

We knew we wanted a special door but with a new renovation project the budget was always tight. After lots of emails from us and after viewing many cheaper alternatives and off the shelf solutions we decided nothing was going to cut it, we had to get it done properly. We are so glad we did!

From Chris' initial visit to completion of the job, Chris seemed to understand exactly what it was we were after. We knew it was going to make a difference to the house but I don't think we had realized quite how much.

To say we love our new front door is an understatement - the whole thing was a really good experience and we look forward to enjoying our door for years to come.
