Every design in the range is inspired by the best original doors I’ve worked on. Panel sizes follow the golden ratio wherever the house allows. It’s the proportion your eye finds calm, and the old builders used it everywhere.
Details matter: Lines follow architectural detail, I leave enough space on the timber in the centre of the door for a quality knocker, beading is designed to shed water not hold it, all joints are mortice and tenon, traditional, strong.
The mouldings matter most. Each profile is drawn to match its era, not picked from a merchant’s catalogue. Get that right and a door looks like it has always been there. Get it wrong and it never will.
The timber is utile, a dense hardwood that stays stable and shrugs off rain. The leaded glass is designed one door at a time, every joint soldered. Nothing here is convention for convention’s sake.
Design is everything.
Walk down any Victorian street and you’ll see front doors that just shouldn’t be there. uPVC, composite, mass produced doors for a world market, doors that weren’t made to work with Britain’s architecture.
It happens because volume doors are built to suit everywhere, which means they belong nowhere. Your house was built to a specific design. Its front door (and it’s glass) should be too.

Every door in the range is made to order in solid hardwood, to the proportions and moulding profiles of its era, with leaded, etched or patterned glass to suit you and your home.
Supply only keeps it honest. No showroom, no vans, no fitters on the payroll. Your money goes into the door itself, and any competent local joiner can hang it in a day.

I started making front doors in the 90s and have spent the best part of the last two decades restoring period doors and replacing ones that couldn’t be saved. During that time, these designs have been developed and honed.
